I got home yesterday, and slept hard last night. But enough about that.

It was brilliant. Lots of fun, lots of swag, and lots of pictures.

If anyone that went to the con that cosplayed and are on tumblr, and remember the guy with the hat with black skulls on, I have the pictures me and my friend took in a dropbox. If there are any friends that generally want to look at the cosplay pictures (of which there are Megaman, Lara Croft, Poison Ivy, Picard, Borg, Jack Harkness, The 11th Doctor, Two-Face, etc) I will link to said pictures.

Only thing; there was a group, it had a Link (LOZ) cosplayer, and 2 friends, one of which was a girl gamer, and the other was a guy. I was talking about games to them. Then I never saw them again. Wanted to get to gaming with them. So if anyone can help, that would be nice.

Secondly, there is a reason for the title. I am going to a convention on Sunday. Wales Comic Con. My FIRST.

Now,I know not all of you will get to go, but those of you that can, look out for a guy wearing a blue shoulder bag, and a white trilby with skulls on. That is me. But NO HUGGING. I am shy to random huggers. I will hopefully be taking photos of cosplayers and celebrities, and possibly the random greety people, because geekiness.

There are posts on tumblr that talk about taking all the urls from notes to certain events.

This is one of them. I can also put them on stickers for people to see.

NOW, if you want to have your url given to someone special at the con, I suppose I can attempt to put some in books, to give to a celebrity. Just add a message to the post.

The sarchasm of Andrew Garfield’s Spiderman really ruined this film for me.

First of all, it’s sarcasm not sarchasm. Secondly, you must not really know that Spider-Man is, indeed, a sarcastic-smart ass in the comic books. He’s not just some nerdy teenager/adult like in the first three movies, he’s a nerdy sarcastic asshole. If you read any of the comic books or played any Marvel game where Spider-Man was a character in the game, you would understand how Spider-Man truly is.

Spider Man is the sassiest mother fucker. How is it even possible to not know that?

Spiderman uses the smartmouthing and trashtalking during his fights to throw off his opponents, and cause them to make mistakes.

I think it was written somewhere that if Spiderman DIDN’T do it, he would be a lot scarier to his opponents…

I said I might be doing a post between now and Thursday and here it is.

And I have had reasons for not being around lately too.

A female reason mainly. I didn’t want to tell tumblr or owt, for fear of repercussions, and until it felt right.

Somehow… now does.

There is someone I have been talking to a while, and we have really fell for one another in the past month. In other words, we’re serious.

Now, I am not going to try to be overly mushy, but I think I love her. Just don’t tell her this. She will probably swoon. Or hit me. Or both…

The History of the Power Rangers 1993-2013

Watching this has reminded me of a few things:

I was seventeen when Power Rangers started…

Turbo and Operation Overdrive are the two big low points in PR history.

Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder and SPD represent the golden age to me.

I had forgotten just how good Jungle Fury was.

The RPM theme is completely unmemorable, but the show was pretty good.

I need to finish watching Samurai.

Hands down, one of the best videos made. It was exciting watching my childhood unfold from one video. Thanks for making it Morphin’ Legacy!

My youth is MMPR, all the way to Time Force.

My guilty secret is I know the Dino Thunder theme tune by heart, and I have sung it randomly.

I have watched most of the series’ regardless, and would still watch them given the chance…
